George Kittle injury update: 49ers TE exits with hamstring vs Seahawks, MRI Monday

George Kittle left the 49ers’ season-opening win over the Seahawks with a hamstring injury and was ruled out before halftime. He’ll have an MRI on Monday. Kittle had four catches for 25 yards and scored the 49ers’ first touchdown. Backup Jake Tonges stepped in and caught the go-ahead score late as San Francisco won 17–13. Kittle missed two games last year with hamstring issues.
