Are Australian tourists really that bad?

In recent times, there's been a lot of chatter about Australian tourists behaving badly abroad. But are they really that terrible? Some incidents of unruly behaviour have certainly been reported, but it's crucial to remember that these don't represent all Aussie travellers. In fact, most Australians are respectful and courteous when they are travelling. So, it might just be a case of a few bad apples spoiling the reputation of the bunch.
